Shama Consult Africa invites you to a 3-days-training workshop on Grants Writing and Management Training (GWMT Course) to be held in Nairobi, Kenya.
The training workshop will help training participants to gain knowledge and skills in locating grant-funding opportunities, develop strategies for preparing and writing successful grants and as well as improve participants’ skills in writing and editing grant applications. This training will also explore the full scope of Grants Management to enhance participants’ ability to understand the functional stages of Grants Management. The training will explain in depth the Grants Management cycle. This training workshop will provides all insights required from experience on how to get a YES in successful writing and managing donor grant proposals.

Course Objectives:
- To introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of grants writing and management.
- To review the winning strategies for locating funding sources and understanding the funders’ perspectives.
- To discuss proven methodology for preparing and writing successful grant proposals.
- To describe the grants management cycle highlighting the requirements, roles, responsibilities and reporting for each phase.
- To ensure by the end of the training workshop participants prepare a concept note for submission to a potential funder.
